Konstantin Grcic is a German industrial designer recognized for his rational and experimental approach to design. Initially trained as a cabinetmaker, he later studied at the Royal College of Art in London before establishing his own studio in Munich in 1991. His work combines historical research, technological innovation and material experimentation. Known for his geometric compositions and functional solutions, he develops furniture, lighting and objects that explore new manufacturing possibilities. His precise and rational visual language also incorporates a conceptual dimension that challenges conventional approaches to design.
